Too much milk to spare? Why not feed the dogs?
Janelle Williams, 27, from Nevada fed her six-month-old puppy with her own breast milk. Janelle bought the puppy, Jack, in October last year. However it fell ill and refused to drink the formula milk recommended by a vet. Janelle was still producing milk to breastfeed her two-year-old son Johnny. One day Johnny, who was generous, pointed to Janelle’s right breast and said ‘puppy titty’. He named the left breast as ‘Johnny titty’. The puppy got better after breastfeed with Janelle’s milk. Now they are sharing the same mother but different breast. The British Veterinary Association advised pet lovers not to breastfeed their pets, and please makes sure the pet is healthy and nipple is clean if you really want to do so.
