Mr. Xian caught a giant rat in a marketplace in Fujian, China. The rat weighed over six pounds and had inch long teeth. The rat was initially surrounded by the crowds in the middle of the marketplace but no one dared to get near it. It was later caught by brave Mr. Xian by capturing its tail and neck. It was said that the rat was likely to be Sumatra bamboo rat, which was larger than the common Chinese bamboo rat. Mr. Xian kept the animal for himself.
